She was born on October 7, 1997, in Morristown, New Jersey, USA. Her birth name is Kira Nicole Kosarin. She joined Pine Crest School and also learned ballet at the Boca Ballet Theatre and grew up acting, dancing and singing.
Then, she moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to pursue a career in acting and made her debut from an episode of the sitcom Shake It Up (2012), where she portrayed the role of Raina Kumar. She appeared as the lead character Phoebe Thunderman in Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans in 2013.
